Why a UAE shopper needs an Amazon.ae price tracker

Amazon.ae prices move often. Lightning deals, coupons, Prime Day, White Friday and Ramadan sales all change the price of the same product within weeks. A strikethrough "was" price tells you very little, because you cannot see what the product actually sold for last month.

Most well known price trackers were built for Amazon.com and a handful of European stores. On Amazon.ae they often show nothing, or show prices in another currency. PriceGate was built the other way around: for shoppers in the UAE first, with Amazon.ae and prices in AED as the default.

What PriceGate shows on every Amazon.ae product

A clear verdict

Open a product and the panel tells you Good price or Maybe wait, based on how today's price compares with the product's own history.

The price history in AED

A chart of the price over time, with the lowest, average and highest price, so you can tell a real deal from a normal day.

Price drop alerts

Set a target price or a percent drop. Tap the lowest, average, 30 day or median price to use it as the target. PriceGate keeps checking and notifies you when the price gets there.

What you paid

Already bought it? PriceGate reads your Amazon orders inside your browser, marks your purchases on the chart, and tells you if the price dropped while you can still return the item. Your order data is never uploaded.

Back in stock

If a product is sold out, PriceGate can tell you when it is back, with its last price.

How to track an Amazon.ae price in three steps

  1. Add PriceGate to Chrome (it also works in Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers).
  2. Open any product on Amazon.ae. The PriceGate panel appears next to the price.
  3. Set a target price, or just check the verdict and the history before you buy.

How the history is built: PriceGate keeps a shared, anonymous price history from the products its users view and track. Popular products have long charts. A product nobody has tracked yet starts building its history once someone tracks it.

Beyond Amazon.ae

The same panel works on Amazon stores in 16 countries, including Amazon.sa, and on several stores UAE shoppers use every week, such as Zara, IKEA and iHerb. Prices are shown in AED wherever you shop.
